
CEO Certification... To be a certified code enforcement official, an individual must successfully complete the required basic training (a minimum of 120 hours of basic training) and maintain the required yearly in-service training (24 hours annually) and any required advanced in-service.
CEO’s must complete 3 hours in each of the following three categories:
Topic 1: Code Enforcement and Administration.
Topic 2: Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code.
Topic 3: Energy Conservation Construction Code.
